Book Project

Modular Image

Generation Process

From a problem-solving perspective, this project focuses on image-making techniques and processes. Once completed, the outcome will serve as a visual basis for conceptual and metaphoric thinking related to the design of a book jacket and, ultimately, a promotional campaign for the book's release.

Ideation and Design

Create a graphic for the book cover with typography based on the newly defined title. Next, focus on the strategic use of verbal content and visual context so that the viewer can interpret the meaning and arrive at a certain message utilizing metaphoric thinking.

Promotional Street Banners

This phase is a form modification in relation to the book jacket and an extension of both concept and context. Create two sets of street banners (two for each set that would be put on either side of a lamppost or pole) for four banners based on the book jacket idea and style.

Branded Collateral System

Because the campaign's design and background are already set, this project is when the campaign truly comes to life, and the fun begins. The project focuses on expanding the meaning and message established on the book jacket and street banners while maintaining visual recognizability across various applications.
